I own a Honda Civic 92 model (manual) and the fuel consumption is very much on the high side. I have worked severally on d carburetor but this has not helped to reduce the consumption. My mechanic said the jets in my carburetor are all open because of excessive fiddling by other mechanics. He’s suggested the only way I can reduce the fuel consumption of the car is to get a new carburetor. I have spent so much money on this problem without getting any satisfactory result. I don’t know much about cars and I will like an advice on how to go about finding a solution to the consumption problem.
